MANITOWOC, Wis. -- Investigators are looking at Steven Avery's digital camera for any clues in the rape and murder of a photographer.According to a search warrant return filed in Manitowoc County on Friday, Avery's girlfriend, Jodi Stachowski, gave detectives the Kodak camera in September while they were interviewing her.Stachowski told investigators that the only images on the camera were those of Avery's family.
The 44-year-old Avery and his 16-year-old nephew Brendan Dassey are awaiting separate trials in the rape and slaying of 25-year-old Teresa Halbach last Halloween.Halbach disappeared after being sent to the Avery family's auto salvage yard near Mishicot to photograph a minivan the family had for sale through Auto Trader magazine. The documents were obtained by a Green Bay TV station.
